Held is a 36-week online course created by Tended Collective for K–12 educators. Each week is organized around one theme — emotional well-being, boundaries, burnout recovery, sustainable practice — and delivered in a format built for working educators: honest, self-paced, and grounded in what this work actually asks of people.
Every week opens with a 5-minute video from a real educator. Not a keynote speaker. Not a wellness expert with a platform. A teacher, a counselor, a coach, a principal — someone who has lived something connected to that week's theme and is willing to say it out loud.
This is not a testimonial. It is a story. The difference matters.

Educators with something real to say.
We are looking for educators at any role or grade level who have a specific, personal story connected to one of the eight course themes. You don't need to have figured it out. You don't need a resolution. You need to have lived something — and be willing to name it honestly.

The ask is simple.
If you're selected, here's what recording your story looks like. No production experience required. No studio. No performance.
Your phone, your laptop, your tablet — whatever you have. A quiet space and decent light is all you need. Raw and real is the standard here, not polished and produced.
We'll send you a short guide with four prompts: introduce yourself, share a specific story, share what you know now, and close with the week's affirmation. You don't need to memorize it or perform it. Just talk.
The whole video is about five minutes. That's it. Enough time to say something true — not so long that it becomes a speech.

Transparent from the start.
Three things you should understand clearly before submitting. No legal language — just plain sentences.
By submitting a video, you grant Tended Collective the right to use your story and likeness in the HELD course and in related promotional content, including social media clips. You retain ownership of your personal story. Tended Collective will never alter the meaning or context of what you share.
You choose what to share. Your first name and role are the only identifying information required in the video itself. Last names, school names, and employer details are never required. If at any point before publication you want your video withdrawn, you can request that and it will be honored — no questions asked.
Educators whose videos are selected and used in the course will receive a gift card as a thank-you for their contribution. Submitting this form expresses interest only — it does not guarantee selection or compensation.
